Missions and Goals of the Colorado Housing Resource Board

The Community Housing Resource Board (CHRB), is a non-profit organization with over twenty years experience and commitment to bringing Fair Housing education to the public and real estate industry. Our funding is both membership and grant-based with minimal funds derived from classes and programs fees.

OUR MISSION

To promote Fair Housing and housing opportunities in Colorado through a broad-based education and training program focusing on multicultural awareness, marketing to diverse groups, and the promotion of community.

OUR GOALS

	Develop and teach sensitivity training programs to those who instruct in Fair Housing to promote Fair Housing laws.
	Develop and teach sensitivity training programs to real estate professionals, lenders and property managers.
	Develop and distribute Fair Housing educational materials to increase public awareness of housing opportunities.
	Educate the housing industry to include real estate licensees, builders, lenders, appraisers, property managers and other providers, to encourage compliance with Fair Housing laws and emphasize duties, rights and responsibilities to the public.
	Develop and participate in programs designed to promote awareness of community, integration of housing and respect for neighborhoods.
	Build public and private partnerships to help achieve the mission statement.

OUR COMMITTEES
Education: Develops, promotes and teaches Fair Housing and sensitivity
courses.

Neighborhood Bus Tours: Coordinates tours of Denver Public Schools and the
surrounding neighborhood.
